Vision U10A-5 --- Brighouse U10A-0
Match report submitted by Dave Collington Three games in, and another shaky start from the boys. The 1st half saw many attempts on the Brighouse goal. There was some excellent defending from Ellis Barraclough in the 1st half. A long powerful free kick from Tyron Sagar rattled the Brighouse crossbar. Some poor shooting and excellent goal keeping from Brighouse kept the score 0-0 at half time. The second half saw Vision looking more focused after a slow start. Some determined chasing down by Connor Thompson and a good ball in saw Bailey Collington net his 1st for the season and steady the fans nerves. This was quickly followed up by an excellent strike from Ellis Barraclough (2). Connor Thompson and Tyron Sagar added to the tally. Vision defenders Callum Fletcher and Ellis Barraclough ensured goal keeper Luke Foster was untroubled. Man of the match deservedly went to Ellis Barraclough for the second week running.
