Vision overcame local rivals Wyke Wanderers 5-0 to complete a season double.
As has been the pattern over recent weeks Vision started slowly and failed to create any clear cut chances for much of the first half . The best move of the half resulted in a Vision goal , Caden Wilkinson and Callum Docherty combined down the left and fed the ball to James Dennison who was left with an empty net into which to score This was the only goal in the first half as Vision went in 1-0 up.
The second half saw Vision begin to play much better and the Wyke keeper did will to save long range efforts from Tom Bentham and Aiden Craythorne – however it was midfielder James Morris who scored twice after swift passing moves saw him convert from close range both times.
The fourth goal was the best of the game with man of the match Caden Wilkinson tip toeing through the Wyke defence before blasting a shot high into the net. Callum Docherty added the fifth to complete the scoring as Vision ran out comfortable winners.
In the end this was a good performance against a Wyke side that offered sterner than expected resistance in the first half at least, and Caden Wilkinson put in an excellent display in central midfield showing improved fitness and skill levels that bode well for the future.
