Vision U11-7 ---Liversedge U11 -4
Report Submitted by Dave Collington

The first home game of the season saw Vision play Liversedge Juniors. The first 10 minutes of the game saw both teams battle for control in the centre of the pitch. Liversedge tested Vision defenders Callum Fletcher, Ellis Barraclough, Caius Lee & Connor McEwan but they smothered out Liversedge’s attacks. Alex Grady, Linley Gentles & Adam Norman continued to battle in the midfield winning most balls. Tyron Sager caused Liversedge plenty of problems running at defenders & making space for shots. This saw Tyron bag himself 4 goals in the first half. A blocked shot saw Bailey Collington the quickest to react as the ball came back out, he smashed the ball into the back of the net leaving the keeper no chance to make a save.

Half time saw the Vision winning 5-0.

Liversedge kicked off the second half & caught Vision ball watching, scoring with-in a minute of kicking off. What followed was the true meaning of the term ‘a game of 2 halves’ – Liversedge pressed Vision back relentlessly & managed to score 3 more goals making the score 6-4. Vision put some clever passes together which allowed Tyron Sagar to get another 2 goals making the final score 7-4 to Vision. A win for Vision but not an easy one.

Man of the match went to Callum Fletcher.
