Club Ethics - Our Code for Success

At Vision Juniors our goal is to run a successful club with high standards of coaching, discipline, commitment and ethics.
We have our RESPECT policy to help improve all these aspects of the club.

Responsibility
Coaches have to keep up standards of attendance, conduct, appearance, qualifications and generally act as role models for our players. They need to keep up with new methods of training. Players need to show commitment, effort, fair play and good attitudes.Parents should support the club by ensuring that players attend, rest, have the correct kit, have good diets and reinforce what we teach the playes
WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH-THE TOUGH GET GOING!
Enjoyment
We all need to enjoy our football whilst staying focussed on learning. The balance between enjoyment, learning and success is not an easy one to achieve and changes depending on what level you want to be at. Parents need to inform us on the pro– formas what are their exact requirements and we will attempt to achieve.
Skills
CORRECT PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT.
The players are coached the correct techniques, set pieces, phases of play and team formations using the three main methods (Q & A, Guided Discovery and Command) but progress will depend on how much the players practice these at home. My continental methods have proven very successful every season.
Preparation
FAILING TO PREPARE IS PREPARING TO FAIL.
Players incorrectly prepared for training or games have their performance hindered. Some of our games have been affected by this.
Education
We teach not only football skills but also physiology, psychology and sociology. Sven G Erickson says the main difference between English and foreign young players is their willingness to learn and as more are coming into our professional teams we must change.
Commitment
WINNERS NEVER QUIT - QUITTERS NEVER WIN TOP TROPHIES!
Attendance to training is vital if progress is to bequick and maintained as an individual and as a team player. Players must focus on their tasks during every session/game it will aid in their footballing intelligence.
Team
PLAYERS DON’T WIN TROPHIES, TEAMS DO! (Jose Marinho)
Every session has a purpose and as football is a team game one player can let his team mates and his manager down if they miss training and especially a game. The players are coached in positions and then all pull together as a unit.

If any of the above is not done to the best of one's ability,
that person is showing a lack of respect for the club specifically and for football in general.
